Hotarubi no Mori e

Something a little different from me.

This is based off a shortanime movie called Hotarubi no Mori e/ Into the Forest of the Fireflies' Light, a story about a young girl called Hotaru, who whilst spending the summer living with her uncle, gets lost in a forest. She is helped by a teenage boy named Gin, who is a spirit of the forest and cannot touch a human or he will disappear. Every summer after that, Hotaru visits Gin in the forest, and their friendship blossoms in something beautiful.

This movie made me cry like nothing that's ever made me cry before. It's beautiful, but so heart breaking at the same time.

After wiping all of the tears off of my face, I decided to draw this little gem.
